Remember the blu-ray summer promotion we wrote about two weeks ago? You basically get to choose 5 blu-ray movies (from a list of 20) when you buy a blu-ray player. We predicted that the HD DVD people would launch something similar, and apparently they had a similar problem because today we got a message telling that they are extending their offer until September 30th (same day as the blu-ray offer stops).
