64 gigabit breakthrough


Traditional hard drives may be ready for museums faster than expected. Today Samsung announced that they have developed a new 64 Gigabit (Gb) multi level cell NAND flash memory chip – which basically means that the density of flash memories has doubled yet again, in other words you can expect to have at least 128 GB of storage in your iPhone in 2009.
