Best blanket ever?

The Slanket

The Slanket is marketed as ‘the best blanket ever‘, and it looks to be a neat idea. Basically it’s just a 60 inches wide and 102 inches long polyester polar fleece blanket with sleeves, so you are kind wearing it when you’re using it. Hopefully we’ll get one in the snail mail so we can try out if it’s good or bad.

This “best blanket ever” is perhaps the third best blanket ever, since there’s at least two other blankets just like it already. One is the Freedom Blanket – http://www.thefreedomblanket.com/ – and the other the Bookblanket – http://www.bookblanket.com – and those are just the ones we’ve found during the last couple of months. The blanket with sleeves idea is not that unique, it seems.

I’ve tried both the Slanket and the original Book Blanket mentioned above and can only say that the Slanket is a big fat rip off. There is no comparison in quality between the two. Where The original Book Blanket is made out of a soft, thick, non-static high quality fleece the Slanket, simply put, just feels cheap. If you are in the market for this type of product I can only recommend that you go with the original Book Blanket. That one you will use and come to love. The Slanket will most likely end up in the bottom of your wardrobe. Atleast mine did. Go Book Blanket!
