Apple multi-touch patent

I am happy that someone is looking through all the patents that Apple and other computers file for, because it’s not one of my favorite hobbies. Here is a patent filed by Apple that describes how they intend to use the touch panel to do more advanced things like ‘copy & paste‘ and ‘select all‘. [...]

Cheaper iPod Shuffle

Apple Store was closed for a while today and they lowered the price of the iPod Shuffle 1GB to $49 and introduced a whole new 2GB version for $69. The old price for the Shuffle 1GB was $79 so it’s a pretty radical new price. Great. iPod Shuffle [Apple.com]

Apple TV 2.0 – review

Yesterday we told you that Apple TV v.2.0 is out and today I just like to pop a link to a nice review of the new software complete with a bunch of screenshots. The part I found the most interesting is where they describe the quality of the high definition movie rentals: If we had [...]

Apple TV 2.0

Today the delayed software update for Apple TV finally got released. The whole process takes approximately 15 minutes from start to finish and among many new features we finally get 1080p support (yeah!), HD rental movies, flickr integration and a slick new opening video. Apple IIc – unboxing

For those of you who doesn’t remember the Apple IIc I will let you know that it is the fourth model in the Apple II series and it was introduced in 1984. You can find them on eBay but this Apple IIc is a very special one because it has never ever been opened – [...]

Gigantic white earbuds

These white earbuds are many times the size of the original white iPod earbuds and they look pretty neat next to a computer or mp3 player. The speakers features a built-in amp and 3-way power (wall, USB-port or batteries). No word on pricing but my guess is that they will be pretty cheap. 500XL [worldwidefred.com]

Pink iPod nano

Apple Store was closed for two hours today and the big news was…drumroll…a pink iPod nano. Bummer iPod nano [Apple Store]

MacBook Air – unboxing

This is not a true unboxing gallery, but since it is the best I have seen so far and two of the photos actually are unboxing shots I want to share it. As said earlier the package is very small and the notebook is even smaller, just check out the side by side shots of [...]
