Apple Store was closed for a while today and they lowered the price of the iPod Shuffle 1GB to $49 and introduced a whole new 2GB version for $69. The old price for the Shuffle 1GB was $79 so it’s a pretty radical new price. Great. iPod Shuffle [Apple.com]

Today the delayed software update for Apple TV finally got released. The whole process takes approximately 15 minutes from start to finish and among many new features we finally get 1080p support (yeah!), HD rental movies, flickr integration and a slick new opening video. These white earbuds are many times the size of the original white iPod earbuds and they look pretty neat next to a computer or mp3 player. The speakers features a built-in amp and 3-way power (wall, USB-port or batteries). No word on pricing but my guess is that they will be pretty cheap. 500XL [worldwidefred.com]
