UA 90th Anniversary Prestige Collection
1/24/2008 | Mikael SvardhThis box from United Artists, celebrating 90 years of film, got to be one of the fattest (the fattest ever probably?) boxes ever. The box features all of the best movies from United Artists and to get matching numbers you get 90 of them (full list inside). The price on Amazon is around $600 ($6.7 a title) and it is a limited editon product. Pretty neat! More photos and full list of titles inside.

Movie rentals in iTunes 7.6
1/10/2008 | Mikael SvardhYesterday we told you that iTunes 7.6 will be able to transfer a new video format from certain DVDs to iPods and today we got some additional news about the iTunes 7.6. It looks like Warner, 20th Century Fox, Paramount, Walt Disney and Lions Gate will be content providers for a new iTunes movie rental service which will let you rent new releases and older titles for $3.99.

Nokia N95 Spiderman 3 bundle

Paramount & Dreamworks on HD DVD only

That’s right – exclusive support for the HD DVD format. So if you thought that blu-ray was the clear winner you have to think again, the battle is very much still a battle. Details inside.
Spiderman 3 on 2 high-def discs
8/3/2007 | Mikael SvardhI thought blu-ray and HD DVD was about to eliminate the need for all these double and triple disc special editions that shows up in the stores as soon as it’s time to launch another blockbuster. That’s not the case. Spiderman 3 is the first(?) high definition title that will be available in a 2 disc version for $49.99 (!) and a 3 disc version for $98.95 (!!). Full info inside.
