Apple Store was closed for a while today and they lowered the price of the iPod Shuffle 1GB to $49 and introduced a whole new 2GB version for $69. The old price for the Shuffle 1GB was $79 so it’s a pretty radical new price. Great. iPod Shuffle [Apple.com]

Even the ‘old’ iPod got a significant upgrade today. The new 6G version features a full metal design and is starting at 80GB ($249) and you can even get hold of a 160GB version ($349).
