Steve Jobs announced that Apple will launch a public beta of their Safari browser for Windows Vista and Windows XP. According to a statement during the keynote, the new Safari is by far the fastest browser today on Windows. It’s twice as fast as IE7 and 1.6 times faster than Firefox 2.

Apple got a lot of press a couple of days ago when they told us that YouTube will be available on Apple TV in the near future.
