When Sony announced that there won’t be a European launch of the PS3 until spring 2007 due to shortage problems, we knew that the situation was going to be bad – but not this bad. Some of the bigger stores in Tokyo will get 5 of 6 machines for the launch day – and these stores could easily sell thousands of units…so unless you have really good connections you will have some serious problems getting a PS3 before christmas.
