External HD DVD from HP
HP has announced the HP hd 100 – an external HD DVD rom that connects to your computer via a standard USB 2.0 connection. In addition to reading the new high definition discs the drive can read practically all other CD/DVD formats – but it can’t burn. The HP hd 100 will be out later this year, no word on pricing yet.

A external HD that sucks! But weird thing is that it would suit me best right now because I run both laptop and desktop at home and buying one for each would be too expansive.
