More pictures and information inside.

Full press release:

Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX T810 and Pocket LOOX T830
The new Pocket LOOX T Series: always in touch with your business

New all-integrated handheld from Fujitsu Siemens Computers featuring Windows Mobile® Direct Push e-mail for anywhere, anytime data access

Mobile phone, notebook, navigation system, digital camera, VoIP headset, PDA, MP3 player, and don’t forget the right power adapter for each device. It’s quite a lot of gear for the business traveler to carry around – the term “unlimited mobility” is hardly one that would spring to mind.

Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX T810 T830

Fortunately, Fujitsu Siemens Computers is bringing an end to all this. Europe’s leading IT company will unveil its Pocket LOOX T Series to the public at the 3GSM World Congress, which started today in Barcelona. Featuring Windows Mobile® Direct Push e-mail and UMTS mobile phone, this all-integrated handheld is a pocket-sized office that eliminates the need for multiple devices.

Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX T810 T830

With Microsoft® Windows Mobile 5.0 software and UMTS functionality, Pocket LOOX T series users always have access to their e-mails, appointment calendar and other familiar Microsoft Office applications. And it’s user-friendly, with a standard QWERTY keyboard and brilliant TFT display. Incorporating these devices into the corporate network is straightforward, ensuring secure and reliable data transfer, while the integrated GPS makes sure you never get lost. The new high-end handhelds will arrive at shops in July for prices of approximately €700.

With annual growth rates of 70 percent in the handhelds market in 2005 Fujitsu Siemens Computers has established itself as a key mobility player in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Fast, efficient digital communication is becoming ever more crucial, particularly in the rapidly growing market for convergence products. With decades of IT and mobility experience, Fujitsu Siemens Computers is extremely well positioned for success in this convergence market. The company recognizes that business users require all-integrated devices, which over time, will replace conventional handhelds and mobile phones.

Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX T810 T830

“It is vital for the mobile workforce to have the information they need at hand anytime and anywhere, and to have the means to respond quickly when it matters,” explained Peter Esser, Executive Vice President Volume Products & Supply Operations at Fujitsu Siemens Computers. “Mobile professionals do not have time to sit around unproductively when there are mountains of e-mails and documents to work through. They do not want to waste time that could be better spent with customers. With the Pocket LOOX T Series, we are introducing a product designed to solve these problems. And the best thing is that all those extra devices and adaptors can be done away with, since everything is now combined into one compact, capable and highly portable package.”

[...] A while ago I wrote about the Qtek 9100 and the fact that I really wanted that smartphone, but today I’ve seen two new smartphones coming our way that even interest me more than the Qtek. I’m talking about the Samung SGH-I320 and the Fujitsu Siemens LOOX T810/T830. And especially that last one is looking really complete. It’s a combined mobile phone, notebook, navigation system, digital camera, VoIP headset, PDA, MP3 player and more powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 with push email. That’s really bringing functionalities together in one device, accessing your data anywhere at anytime. Bring it on! [...]

I finally found it! After hours of searching for a VoIP(over Wi-Fi) and GSM phone solution, I found this that went beyond my expectations!! It has even more: UMTS, 2Way Camera(one with 2.0Megapixel – quite acceptable 4a phone), GPS, GPRS, Mp3 Player, and Windows Mobile 5!!! This is just Fantastic. Can’t wait to put my hand’s on one… This type of features will be up-to-date for at least 2 or 3 years…so it’s an excelent investment.

I can’t wait for the release, i stumbled on this device whilst waiting for the Ipaq 6900 to ship, twice the dates has slipped. The pocket loox T800 series is reasonably priced, at around £500, considering the Ipaq, with less power is similalrly priced. i think this device would sweep all before it away, just hope it is not modelled on the benq P50.

Last time I owned a Fujitsu-Siemens Loox Pocket PC, they were going mad about releasing a phone module for the Pocket PC making their Pocket PC very much in demand; unfortunately after I bought it, th phone module got cancelled and I got lumbered with just a generic Pocket PC. Is this going to be vapourware again?

Side-note… has anyone ever tried conning those dubious individuals who wants you to post things to Nigeria? :)

I have this PDA for one year, and cannot recommand them. Esspecialy when you let your baterry level decrease too much have this PDA tendencion to frozen, and usually it finish by Re-seting on factory setings, which meen loosing all, what you have inside , such a messages, phone nummbers (which is out of your SIM memory), settings and the worst thing for me is loosing all arranged apointments. This phone have something like an backup point, like an Windows on PC, but you can trust me, that you will never have such an acctual backup, which you need. I loost many phone numbers, many significant dates, such a debt list of my friends (who have lend a money from me) and so on.
