iPhone with 3G confirmed

This will not come as a surprise to anyone but today the CEO of AT&T confirmed that Apple will unveil an iPhone with 3G during the next year. He didn’t say when or give any hot extra details but my guess is that the iPhone 3G will be available in the second quarter of 2008.

The iPhone has always been 3G. AT&T’s EDGE network when beefed up is 3G. Just check their coverage viewer.
