iPod nano 3G – unboxing
You already know that Apple unveiled a couple of brand new iPods last week and today we got the first one in the bunch – the iPod nano 3rd generation. And it is a true beauty! Check out our holy unboxing ceremony of the thin, tiny player with a big screen!

The box is covered with a white plastic protection film to prevent the transparent box from getting scratches.

When you have removed the white film you have to remove another plastic film on the side to be able to open up the box.

But then you have full access to the player.

The iPod nano rests in a small, transparent plastic holder…

…that you easily can lift up from the box.

Under the player you can find a tiny manual (basically a get started guide)…

…ear phones, a USB-kabel and the cheap, white plastic dock.

The player is incredibly small and weighs nearly nothing (really!).

The polished back is much nicer than the aluminum shell of the iPod 2G.

Here’s the nano next to an iPod 5G 80GB.

As you can see it’s ridiculously thin!

Here’s a top shot of the player next to the old 80-gig player, as you can see the screens are almost the same size.

The screen has a resolution of 320×240 and is really crisp. Look out for the review in a week or two.
