Pioneer has just announced a new line-up of plasma screens – their 8th generation panels. The panels will be available in 42, 50 and 60-inch and the most interesting news about these panels is the deeper black levels that is supposed to be 80% deeper than before – which gives a contrast ratio of 20 000 to 1 for the most expensive full HD 50 and 60 inch panels.
