New blu-ray titles causes problems
Just the other day a couple of new blu-ray titles got a brand new DRM-protection scheme that has caused some severe usability problems for some end users. The new ‘feature’ is called BD+ copy protection and is basically an enchanced copy protection. Almost all players that has an old firmware needs to be upgraded before they can play the new ‘enhanced’ titles. The movies are Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer and The Day After Tomorrow.
