No more Myspace at Apple stores

Apple Store New York City

In some cities, you can go to an Apple Store 24 hours a day, and apparently some visitors kept browsing their Myspace pages quite too long time. Apple have now blocked all acces to the domain myspace.com and it’s no longer possible to visit the domain. It’s the first domain that has been blacklisted from the stores, but I’ll guess we will see some more domains getting blocked in the near future.

“Nearly 2 million people visit Apple stores every week,” the statement read. “We want to provide everyone a chance to test-drive a Mac, so we are no longer offering access to MySpace in our stores.” According to an Apple representative, the News Corp.-owned MySpace is the only site that has been blocked.
