Panasonic DMC-FZ18 – unboxing
Today I got the brand new Panasonic Lumix FZ18 – a camera that features a massive 18x zoom. It also has a resolution of 8 megapixel and a built-in optical image stabilizer. Here is our holy unboxing gallery.

The box is quite small and looks just like a typical Panasonic product package.

Ok, let us begin with the holy ceremony. All items are stacked on top of each other with small dividers holding everything in place.

The camera, some cables and the lens hood is the first items we take out of the box. The manuals can be found along the side.

The unboxing ceremony was quite fast and the box was emptied in just a minute. Here’s what you get: Manuals and a couple of CDs (UMIX Simple Viewer, PhotofunStudio -viewer, ArcSoft PanoramaMaker and ArcSoft MediaImpression), battery pack, battery charger, AV Cable, USB cable, lens cap, lens hood, hood adaptor, ac cable, the camera and a strap. Pretty much what i expected to find.

The camera is quite small and light…

…but it still feels well built and you get a sense of quality.

The FZ-18 from another angle. A review will follow in a couple of days.
