Pixel perfect rendering
This might just look like a photo of the Korean actress & singer Song Hye Kyo, right? The fact is that it is 3D rendering modelled using Zbrush and 3DS Max. Ridiculously realistic or what do you think?

That s pretty amazing, but there would be no doubt of the fake in a comparison. The hair looks kind of plasticy and antialiased, and the eyes are kind of dark. The dress fabric is also not as detailed. Still, it can definitely pass for a person, and is quite a feat of artwork.
The real thing that gives it away is the fact that no article would be only a picture of a face (and like 3 lines of text), no matter who it is.

I have to disagree with Nick. I’ve seen a lot of real, unphotoshopped images that looked a lot more fake than that. Sure, once I knew it was fake I could go through and pick out things that are “wrong” with it, but who is to say a real picture couldn’t actually look like that?
Damn good job.

The hair and the ears are the giveaway. they put some effort into giving her eyes the appropriate look. but if you’re just passing through this in a magazine or something you wouldn’t notice.
if you look at the image for longer than 2 seconds you’d realize something is wrong.

This looks more like a badly-lit photo than a digital creation. I’ve personally taken pictures that look worse than this. LOL I’m sure most people have.
I wonder if this were placed along with genuine photos how many people would correctly identify which is real?
