I have read a couple of similar stories during the last year or so about people who gets extremely high bills because they don’t realize how much it will cost them to use the mobile Internet connection on their phone while they are outside their ordinary data plan. This guy went abroad two weeks with his iPhone and got a bill for $3000 when he returned home. Apparently AT&T gave the guy a call and agreed to waive all charges, but be sure to check out the local rate when you’re using your phone abroad.
