Rumor roundup: Ultra portable MacBook


A couple of days ago I wrote about the ultra portable MacBook that might be launched (or at least unveiled) on the MacWorld Expo in San Francisco. Today Mac Rumors published a great roundup of all the rumors circulating about the new MacBook. It looks like some of them have concluded that the new model will weigh 50% less than the current one and that the magnetic spinning hard drive will be by a small, silent NAND flash based solid state drive.

The current MacBook (featured above) is 1.08 inches thick and weighs 5 pounds. On January 15 the guessing game is over…can’t wait!
