What’s most interesting with the new portable DVD player is that they have improved the battery life to six hours of playback. Combine that with 5.1 channel Virtual Surround Sound and a 480p resolution and you get what seems to be a really good player.

The new lineup includes the 7″ DVD-L760 and DVD-L765. The DVD-L760 and DVD-L765 displays offers 480P resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 160-degree viewingangle for stunning front-of-screen performance in a 7″ TFT LCD. Both models come equipped with a letterboxeliminator and picture CD viewer ability. Each offer DVD-Video/ CD-A, MP3 playback and 5.1 channel VirtualSurround Sound.
The DVD-L760 offers approximately a four-hour battery life while the DVD-L765 provides up to a stunning six-hoursof battery life. Each model offers Adaptive Image Control, which enables the viewer to select any of four differentviewing settings that maximize LCD performance based on ambient lighting conditions.
Both new Samsung models make a profound style statement with a sleek 1″ thin industrial design. The new lineupis optimal for consumers who want an ultra-light DVD portable but don’t want to sacrifice functionality.
