Scratched Halo 3 discs
If you have been waiting for two years to get to play Halo 3 and pay a lot of money to get a limited edition of the game – would you be happy if you got a disc from Microsoft that looked like this? Unfortunately that has happened for a lot of end users of the Halo 3 limited edition. Microsoft will of course replace your disc for free but you be without the game for 2 weeks…

Well it isn’t that big of a problem… well it is for those that have to have perfect Discs.
I forked out the extra Ten Dollars for the Collectors Edition… and sure enough my discs were scuffed (Not scratched).
I popped the game disc in to see if it would run and it certainly did… later in the evening I played through the whole game with a friend… and we didn’t once have a problem with it.
So… yes the design wasn’t very well thought out perhaps… but it isn’t the end of the world. If you must have perfect discs then play the game now and when your done… send it into Microsoft and have them replace it. This Offer is extended to the end of the year anyways.
