Screen of the future
I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a cool operative system as this one demonstrated by Jeff Han from NYU. It’s really worth a look.
“Jeff Han is a research scientist for NYU’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, and the inventor of an “interface-free” touch-driven computer screen (Recorded February 2006 in Monterey, CA. Duration: 09:32)”

wow! i can’t wait till this screen can be bought. It reminds me of that scene in the Matrix (I, II or III, can’t remember) where we see the control centre of the core of the earth (all white with cool screens)

Amazing! Its just like the one in Minority Report! Jeff Han is right to say that this has a lot of potential. I look forward to seeing how this develops.

[...] Check out the videos at Microsoft Surface site. They look really amazing, specially the external object interaction. Just think about it, you go to a restaurant and the menu is the table, and then you just place your credit card on it and split the bill. I really like this form of interaction for specific types of usage. I wonder if this project has anything to do with this, looks pretty similar. Tags:Gadgets tecnology [...]
