The death of HD DVD
The Warner Bros announcement a couple of days ago was a tough call for the HD DVD team, and there has been a lot of speculation of whether it was the death blow for HD DVD – and it probably was. Gizmodo scored an interesting interview with Samsungs main man on blu-ray and HD DVD, DongSoo Jun, and he thinks that HD DVD still have a chance to grow big in the PC market (remember DVD+R…) but that blu-ray is the winner in the living room battle.
