Wal-Mart to launch $200 HD DVD player?
Rob Enderle over at Digital Trends has written an interesting story about Wal-Marts plans to bring in a massive number of cheap HD DVD players for Christmas this year (a Taiwanese manufacturer is apparently building 2 million units for Wal-Mart). The price could be as low as $199 and that would really boost the sales of the high definition formats. In the article you can also read that Wal-Mart is not going to have any Blu-ray discs in their aisles.
